A collapsed road embankment was a challenge due to the volume of water in the Tulloes Burn after the recent storms.  The working area was limited and the client (Angus Council) was reluctant to have too much disruption to road which is the main route between Carnoustie and Forfar. HBB GeoSales Ltd engaged with Tailor Engineering for a specialist element design using their facing bag systems combined with Hulk driven earth anchors, using an innovative design to minimise disruption. HBB vegetated wall structure acts as anchored reinforced structure and it retains the failed bank section keeping the road open and safe.
